Last Saturday was grandpa's funeral and it was really nice. We figured that 37 of 42 grandkids made it to the funeral. We were quite the bunch! There were so many of us. We filled the entire front portion of the chapel.
Grandpa was buried in the Orem cemetery. Pallbearers and honorary pallbearers.
The family picked out a beautiful blue casket for my grandpa. Blue was his favorite!
It was neat to see the 21 gun salute (I think I'm saying it wrong but I can't think what it is called!) and to hear the bugler.
BYU sent these beautiful flowers. In my aunt's talk she said if grandpa were there he would be sitting by these :)
Almost made it to 100!
Our family that was able to be there. We dropped Alison off with a friend in Provo (thanks again Becky!) and Natalie left her youngest with family.
It has been kind of crazy having both grandfathers pass away 5 weeks to the day of each other (and at about the same time of day). It is always hard to lose a loved one, but we are so grateful and thankful for their lives and examples. We are grateful for all the memories we have with them. Being pregnant and at two funerals is not a good combination. I had way more tears than I would have liked and/or anticipated! I like to blame it on the hormones. We had a really nice dinner after the burial that the RS put on for us. It was a nice day for all I think.

Thank you for posting pictures. As one of the 5 who wasn't able to be there, I love seeing all the pictures everyone took. Sure wish I could've been there. :(
