Parades and floats

Yesterday we went to see the floats that are going to be in the Days of '47 parade. They have them at the South Towne Expo for a couple of days before the big day. Here's the Real Salt Lake float. Nat, Mitt and Maj are standing by it.

And then we had a primary parade and since we have the smallest primary, you could invite grandkids, cousins, whoever.

This is not Molly's bike but I know she wanted it to be hers!

She was quite interested in the pine cones while we were waiting for everyone to decorate their bikes.

Here the kids are with their decorations. Except Mitt pulled his off :)

Justin and I went to a reception that night and my mom watched Molly. She told us to go look at Molly's strollers. This is what we found.
I hope you can see the spices she found! The pantry is right around the corner and the shelves on the bottom are just her height! Apparently it kept her quite busy!

Cherry Hill

This is a late post, but our internet has been having problems for about the past 3 weeks! Yikes. Anyway, yesterday I called and talked to qwest AGAIN and it seems to finally work 24/7, hallelujah! What a pain!
On Monday we went to Cherry Hill with my sister and SIL and our kids. It was a lot of fun. Everyone had a good time.

Here we are on the blue slides. They are really quite fast and I thought Molly might be scared but once we were at the bottom she wanted to go again!

It was bright!

All of us minus Nat (who's taking the pic).

Weekend in Wyoming

We had a fun couple of days up in Wyoming! We went to hear Brad's homecoming talk and the family was all together for the first time in 3 years I think! It was a lot of fun, even though it was a short trip.

On Thursday night, a neighbor came down by the house on her house and saw Molly and Laney and said they had ponies if they'd like to come over for a ride! We called the next morning and said we would love it if we could bring Molly over. So we did.

Is this not the cutest pony?! We drove up and saw him all ready.

Unfortunately the minute we put Molly on the sadle of the horse in the first pic, she wanted off! She was not so sure about the ponies! So we came to look at a bunch of other smaller ponies. They were so nice and it was fun, even though Molly was scared. We will try next time!

Molly couldn't get enough of the four wheelers! Isn't this a sweet picture with her great-grandpa?

The Pendleton clan, all except the newest triplets who are still in the nicu in Boise. However, they are doing well and it sounds like maybe in a few weeks they will get to go home!

How cute. Uncle Mark and Uncle Brad holding their nieces.

4th Fun

We were up early on Saturday morning to drive up to the Brighton breakfast. My mom, her friend, Molly and I met up with my dad, Todd and a friend at the breakfast (the boys had been hiking nearby). It was pretty yummy and very organized and beautiful of course!

Mom, dad and Molly

Then we drove to meet up with Natalie, Preston and their boys for the Morgan carnival. They had a bunch of booths as well as activities for kids. Here's Major and Molly in the little bounce house.

Someone brought their baby bunnies to pet/sell! Mollly thought they were very soft. And she wasn't even afraid of them.

After the carnival we headed over to Nat's and put out the little pool and slip n slide. Molly loved the little pool.

Major did too, although he loved the slip n slide too! And Mitt was too big for the "baby pool" of course!
We were scrooges I guess and didn't watch any fireworks since Molly went down for bed early. Although we did watch Confessions of a Shopaholic and that was quite satisfying!

Just in Time

This is my new wall hanging I finished last night. I bought the flag panel on sale and added the blocks around the edges.

And this is a cute kit I bought from the Heartland Paper Co. in Taylorsville. They had a catalogue they sent out with classes and this was included. I wanted to take the class but was out of town, so I just bought the kit. It took me a while to finally go and get it, but it was super quick to finish, especially since the teacher painted the blocks for me in advance!
Happy 4th of July!

The RM

Justin's youngest brother Brad came home from his mission in Nicaragua on Tuesday night.

Here we are up the escalator. Molly thought it was a really fun new ride!
Molly and her cousin Laney waiting to see their uncle Brad they've never met!Well after hanging out for about an hour we found out that his plane was delayed an hour. Molly was in no mood to stay another hour (he was expected at about 9:30 pm) so I ended up taking her home and staying with her.

A happy moment for the parents!

Brad and Justin

The welcoming group. Justin's grandparents came down as well as an aunt and uncle and their kids.
They came and stayed with us, so I got to see him when they arrived. He talks kind of like a mexican kid! It's pretty funny. He hesitates to speak english sometimes but he'll get over it! Brad is 5/5 (including Justin's oldest sister) to serve in the Pendleton family. Welcome home Brad!
