Last night the nurse told me to bring in the car seat so Alison can be tested today. She is getting very close! She gained 30 grams (1 oz.) which makes her total 5 lbs. 10 oz. The nurse today asked the doctor if we could take the feeding tube off but he doesn't want to take it off until 4 pm in case she needs it. Last night she took a bottle at every feeding! She nursed for just under 30 minutes this morning which is an all time high for her. The doctor told me he's a bit worried that the nurses are pushing too hard, but she may be able to do it.
I haven't written much about Molly, so this is for my benefit. A couple of new things Molly has been saying are, "huh?", "rye hee" (right here), "alright" and she told me today that "papa is busy" (first time hearing busy). She has done such a good job keeping herself entertained while I am busy with one thing or another. Hopefully she'll keep it up when the baby is home and I'm nursing all day!

uuug! My mom told me that you were asked to bring in the car seat and I thought for sure she was coming home!
YAY!!!!! Keeping my fingers crossed she's home for the "party" this weekend!!! ;)
Molly is such a doll! I'm sure she's so excited for her little sister to come home soon!
So great! Can't wait for her to be home!
I hope she passes the car seat test! And I'm glad you are getting so close! It's time to have that little Allison home where she belongs!
A car seat sounds like good news to me. I am excited for you to get her home.
