Splat Mat

I've wanted a drop cloth for a while to put under Molly's high chair. I looked on etsy knowing that someone would have made one and sure enough! So of course I copied the idea and viola! Here's mine. I bought some thin vinyl from Walmart as well as the fabric. So instead of costing me $40 on etsy, (seriously, that was the price!) I paid $4!

Here's a close up of the fabric. It was pretty cute I thought for cheap Walmart fabric! Anyway, it's nice to be able to just wipe the vinyl clean!

sooo cute! what dimensions did you do? what dimensions did you wish you had done? (I think you said you wished it was bigger, maybe?) but you did a great job.

such a cute idea, but $40? Seriously? Wow. We just had Honey the family dog take care of that for us.

I wanted it to be 36x42 and it didn't exactly turn out that way. I cut the first piece of vinyl the wrong way, so then I didn't have as much the long way. Oh well! Molly had a test run and everything landed on it, so I figure that's good enough :)

That is way cute..and a good idea. It seems like Ari gets half of his dinner on the floor as well:)

Cool idea. I need on over the whole kitchen with four kids. I seriously can't keep that floor clean. I remember walking on the floor as a teenager and going to the carpet to wipe my feet of crumbs so i guess it is normal! When Mckenna and Danielle were a baby i had a Winnie the Pooh one. I have to say yours is cuter. =0) It is fun to catch up. Don't you love blogs!
