baseball and fabric

So the inspiration for this comes from a new cookbook my mom bought called Paper Crafts Gourmet. It's a really cool cookbook with not only recipes, but cute ways to embellish and give the food away to others (if that makes any sense).

I was looking through it the other day and saw the cutest idea for a baseball game! We are headed to my nephew Mitt's t-ball game tonight, so I thought this would be a cute idea to give to everyone.

The little tag says Go Mitt!

This is Corn Pop Candy. Here is the recipe:
1 large bag corn pops
3 cubes butter
1 1/2 c. sugar
5 T. white corn syrup
5 T. water
Directions:
Pour corn pops in a large bowl; set aside. In saucepan, mix reamining ingredients. Bring to a boil; boil for 4 minutes. Pour over corn pops; stir untile completely cated. Cool and serve. These can be stored in an airtight container for several days.

So each person will get a drink and a bag with the corn pop candy inside.

Fun idea, don't you think?

And take a look at these cute fabrics! I picked these up yesterday from Elaine's Quilt Block. The two on the left are going to become a sundress for Molly. The polka dot will be the tie and the other will be the dress. I'm going to pair it with white leggings, darling, right?! I just had to have this fabric when I saw it.
And then the fabric on the right is Amy Butler and I'm using it to make a gift. It's actually finished, but you'll have to wait til it's been gifted for a pic :)
