I have been so looking forward to learning how to do what I have done in these pictures.

Can you tell what the difference is? Depth of field. You can see everything clearly in the first picture from the flowers to the background. The second has a blurred background. I have always wondered how photographers do this and now I know!

looks great nicole! now share your secret. :)
I'm glad you had flowers to practice this one. When I started practicing I had to use boring apples. Although it made me practice with focus...so I guess it was good in a way.
Yeah--I have the camera--do tell PLEASE!
Please share the secret!
Cool!! Looks great :)
I wish I had an easy answer for everyone! I have been learning to shoot in manual mode, which means that everything is custom! You have to use f-stop and shutter speed and have the right exposure etc. etc. in order for everything to work. So I can't just say push this and this and viola! Sorry :( I guess you will have to take a class so you can learn too!
Awesome!!! I was going to take a photography class but it got canceled. Hopefully they'll reschedule soon because I want to learn how to take cool pictures!
Very cool!!!! Yo'll be a PRO in no time!!! ;) And then you can teach me!!!
Sounds fun!
